ตามด้วยคำ adjective หรือ v.+ing (ซึ่งอาจอยู่หลังคำนามอีกที)

We cuddled with each other to keep warm.  

เรากอดกันไว้เพื่อให้อบอุ่น

Keep the light on.  เปิดไฟทิ้งไว้นะ

Turn on the light and keep it on. 

 เปิดไฟแล้วก็ทิ้งไว้แหละ
